I know I am behind and I promise to go back and post somethings from the summer including Tanner's 3rd birthday. For now I start with yesterday. So a few weeks ago Mark challenged himself to lose 27 pounds. He used an app on his phone called "Lose It" and some other family members took on the challenge also. He worked out everyday and calorie counted everything (which has been good for our whole family) and in a little under 3 months he met his goal. So his incentive to reach his weight was a motorcycle. (He sold his last bike right after Weston was born. So he has waited 6 years for this.) I am very proud of him. I also think the bike he picked out (after weeks of mulling it over) is very much him. The boys enjoyed going on their first trip around the block too.
I have to say I love seeing him on a bike again....hot stuff!!
(I am sure in a few weeks we will be purchasing a new seat to fit two and new pipes to follow. We like our bikes loud.)
He is also back at it and trying to lose another 8 pounds.
So I rented a Canon 5D Mark iii camera for the weekend and played around with it. I REALLY liked it. It could become the other Mark in my life. Here are a few of the pictures I took. I have lots to go through but since the camera is so new my software programs need updating.
I love the rich colors and the warmer tones that the Canon camera have. The sharpness is pretty amazing on this sucker too.
