2nd Ultra Sound

These are the ultra sound pictures that were taken today. If you click on them I believe you can see them larger. If not, I will re-post them individually. The first picture is of a foot, the second picture is of his fingers, and the third picture is his face. The baby weighs 3.2 lbs and is doing great.

Weston was in the room today for this ultra sound and he had me laughing so hard. When he saw the heart beating on the screen he said "oh look it's a fishy". He also said the face was an elephant and at one point he said he saw a turtle. You would think I have a zoo in my tummy. He also thought it was very entertaining when they put the gooey gel on my tummy prior to the ultra sound.

As of today I'm 28 weeks and heading into my seventh month. I promise I will post pictures of me soon. I've been terrible about photos this pregnancy, I'm hoping Mark will take a couple photos of me this weekend. Then eventually I need some of the three of us. Before you know it our new addition to the family will be here.

Hospital Visit

Well, I had my first hospital visit today (it was not planned). I'm only 28 weeks and do not want to see the inside of a hospital for at least another 8 weeks.

I was having pain that wasn't normal and after being sick with a stomack bug for the last week my doctor's office thought it would be best if I went down to triage to be treated for dehydration. Sure enough I was have contractions as well, so they decided to monitor me for a while. Our baby boy is doing great and all of what I was feeling wasn't affecting him too much. He was very active and had a strong heartbeat. That was all great news to hear.

So after a couple hours there I received an IV of fluids and they decided it would be okay if I went home. I'm still having pains but after taking some medication and getting rest I hope to start feeling better. I have another appointment on Friday along with an ultra sound so we will do a follow up then. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

My little boy (soon to be big brother)

Weston
(I didn't focus quite right on this one, more things I need to practice on.)

I love this one because it shows he's chipped tooth that some day will fall out.

My favorite photo.

So Weston and I were doing some house work today and I decided to let him have some fun and have a little photo shoot. I'm still playing with my camera a lot on manual mode and I wanted to get some more practice. Fortunately I have a pretty good little model. :)

Silly Boy

I know it's been a while since I've posted I'm not too great with posting new things each week. We are all doing great and enjoying the great weather we've been having here in AZ. Weston has been enjoying some popsicles even. Each time he eats one he gets a colored mouth. I was playing around on Friday taking pictures with my new lens I got for my camera and I took this picture.

I took a photography class yesterday from the wonderful Sarah Goodman http://www.sarahgoodmanphotography.com/ . If you have a moment take a look at her website, you will fall in love with her work!! I'm so excited about everything I learned and I hope to see my photographs improve. I will share a couple of photos in the next couple of days.

Have a great week.

Happy Birthday Weston!!

It was about this time (12:00am) 3 years ago that I was admitted into the hospital after walking around the hospital for 2 hours. We knew our little boy was ready to come into the world and he did at 1:12pm December 21st. He was our early Christmas present and we were so excited to have him. I can't believe how much a little one can change your world. It's a whole different feeling of "love".

Today Weston is a happy little boy. He loves Legos, Star Wars, cars, games, swinging on the swing, dressing up in costumes, and watching movies. I love his giggles and seeing things through his eyes. He gets joy out of the simplest of things and I love that. I look forward to our time ahead and hope it doesn't go too fast.
Happy Birthday Weston!! I love you with all my heart. Love mom
