Tanner Robert Heinle

Look at that hair!
Weston giving Tanner the dog he made for him at Build a Bear. Weston named him "Tanner".

Resting

Weston meeting Tanner.

Tanner Robert Heinle is here. He was born on May 4th at 9:09pm. He is 9lbs and 20 1/2 inches long. I had a pretty smooth delivery and we are both doing great. We are happy to be home from the hospital. (I delivered at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and had a great experience there and would recommend them to others in the future.) Here are a couple photos for now and I will post more soon. Weston is doing great and has been a very loving, caring, curious BIG brother. I'm blessed with a beautiful, healthy family and I thank God for that.

Mark's Birthday

We celebrated Mark's birthday last week. I wasn't sure if I should plan a get together or not due to the baby, so last minute I threw a family dinner party together. I decided to have an M&M themed party since Mark's favorite candy is peanut M&M's. We had a good time and thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate my wonderful husband's birthday.
Thank you Fran for making the cake, to the others who brought food, and to the Heinle 5 for letting us have the party at their home.

Shaving Cream Fun

Last week our topic with our preschool group was things in the sky. So the kids had a fun time playing with shaving cream. On this particular day we were talking about clouds and the shapes they form. Weston had a great time making creations with his tray full of "Clouds".

Potty Trained

So I have to blog about this because it's my journal, plus I'm a mom. We started potty training Weston back in July of 2008. He took to number 1 no problems and has only had one accident (and it was while he was sleeping). Number 2 on the other hand has been a huge fight. Especially with him holding it for days at a time or sitting in funny positions to hold it in. After 9 months I finally can say he is potty trained!!!!!! He has gone for 3 weeks with no #2 accidents and tonight I told him he had to go try and he did it with out crying, whining, screaming, or anything. Each day he becomes more of a "Big Boy" and I'm so proud of him!! Yay Weston!!

July 2008 (The only picture I have of Weston sitting on his potty chair.)

For Christina

Our son can be such a "ham". This is one of those photos you would never hang up in your home on the family portrait wall. But it's a photo I love because it's him.

Thunder in the Desert

Weston and I had the treat of going to Luke Air Force Base to watch the practice show for the "Thunder in the Desert" air show that took place March 21st and 22nd. Weston enjoyed the show for the most part. He occasionally covered his ears and said it was too loud (which I expected to happen). He said it was "very cool".
Angel, thank you so much for inviting us to go along with you. It was a treat to see the aerial performances and something I would love to see again.
