Weston got a nice little instant bruise while playing at a play ground today and bumping heads with another little boy. He may have a black eye tomorrow.
Okay so I'm playing around with Photoshop. I have a class to take on-line with learning layers and masks but tonight I've been playing around with actions from Pioneer Women (since Mark just loaded CS4 on my computer). I don't know if I have an eye for this and I'm not confident at all!! I'm off to bed, good-night all.
So these pictures are from Weston's camera. Silly boy. I like to see what he's been taking pictures of, some are so random. He had a photo of just about everything in our house. :)
Okay these pictures didn't post the way I wanted them too and I don't want to re-do it but you get the idea. Our theme this week for preschool is "kids in the kitchen". Weston will also get to make pancakes and pizza this week. It's a fun topic.
A BIG "thank you" to Debbie for letting us borrow your walker. Tanner loves it and it's been great in the basement. So far he just loves playing with the toys, hasn't quite figured out it moves. I know he will.
So Tanner has lots of new sounds and funny faces. I promise to post the videos soon, I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to get them on here.
For now here are some shots of Tanner's "snorting like a pig".
So this is a favorite new place for us in Longmont, CO at Rocky Mountain Elementary School. The program involves swinging, crawling and climbing on, over and through ropes and other obstacles. Rope World helps children develop self-confidence, agility and strength as they play freely in a supervised environment. We found out about it through a mom's group. Rope World is part of this school's physical education program and they open it to the public for two week sessions a couple times of year. We went once last week and then again today. Weston really enjoys and I hope each time we go he'll try something new. If you live in the area I highly recommend you try it (well worth the $4).
So I realized today that I forgot some blogging back in November. There was too much going on. I decided to throw Weston a birthday arty before we moved to Colorado. I knew we wouldn't know anyone here and didn't have the heart not to give him a party. So the kids made light sabers out of piping foam and duct tape and that kept them busy for the evening. We enjoyed dinner and cupcakes. So here are a couple of pics from Weston's 4th Star Wars Birthday party. (I need more pictures from the rest of the family.)
Just a couple of pics to show you what we've been up to. We walked to the library last weekend (both boys packed into the doubler jogger/trailer that is falling apart). After checking out 19 books we decided to head home. Then we stopped at the park on our way back.
